Welcome

Established in 2023, SMAC is a year-round competitive water polo club program. Our goal is to provide a safe and fun environment for players to maximize their water polo skills and develop life skills learned from participating in team sport. We currently support age-group programs for 18u, 16u, 14u and 12u boys plus a high school girls program. 

 

Each age group practices at least 3 times a week, with opportunities for swim conditioning, scrimmages, clinics run by Olympians, 1:1 private coaching and, when players are ready, participation in tournaments. 

 

The age group coaching staff and parent committee reflect an impressive pedigree of collegiate water polo players and professional athletes including 8 former college athletes, a 2-time Olympic water polo medalist, multiple all-American players, multiple NCAA Division 1 water polo champions, a former NFL lineman and a Special Forces Marine.

 

We strive to be the best we can be at water polo while also ensuring a supportive and friendly atmosphere. Our coaches work tirelessly to help each athlete develop as an individual and as a team player. We expect participants to reciprocate with respect and determination. The philosophy we live by is:
